Keith Olbermann is THE WORST PERSON

You know, when me and my brother were growing up SportsCenter was a staple of most evenings. And my one of my favorite anchors was always Keith Olbermann. He had this dry humor which I loved, he was the tops. But now, he is a self-fulfilling, self-aggrandizing fear monger. This clip regarding Geraldine Ferraro's comments and the Clinton reaction is absurd. To put Clinton, who has publicly repudiated Ferraro's statements, in the same sentence as David Duke is beyond comprehension. This guy is worse than Bill O'Reilly, who at least injects a little humor. Olbermann takes himself way too seriously, and to top it off he steals Edward R. Murrow's sign-off line (Good Night and Good Luck) for each of his nightly tirades?? This guy is a joke. Get him off the airwaves.

Whenever a reporter begins a story with "This is by no means an endorsement for Senator Obama, but..." I see a red flag. Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews, Tim Russert, Patrick Healy (NY Times) and Jonathan Alter (Newsweek)have all endorsed Obama each in their own ways. And can somebody please help Wolf Blitzer hide the erection he gets every time he talks to Obama? I applaud Tim Russert, whose blatant disregard for fairness during the Ohio debate led to the now infamous SNL skit that helped many Americans realize just how biased the coverage of this race has been. To the other reporters who have already anointed Senator Obama, we have a long way to go guys. Sen. Clinton is definitely the underdog, but any reporter who has already counted her out should put aside their emotions and write about the facts. The facts are that Sen. Clinton is only down 130 delegates while holding commanding leads in upcoming key states, not to mention the potential impact of unpledged superdelegates. The fact is that this race is still a nail-biter.

iHe didn't compare Clinton to Duke. He compared, accurately, Ferraro to Duke. Olberman's comments about Clinton were 100 percent on the mark. He sees her for what she is -- a venal, petty politician who care nothing about the Democratic Party. All she care about is winning, any way she can, including letting her surrogates, like Ferarro, spew hateful speech. The paranoia about the media has got to stop. Obama is aheads in this campaign because he has run a better campaign, period. And he's the only candidate in either party who would really change the way Washington operates.
